課程概述 |
1. 介紹在科學與工程上常用的數值方法與其理論基礎，並比較各方法的優缺點。此課程同時借助MATLAB軟體進行實習。
2. 每週課程內容的投影片與影音檔將會在前一周的星期二前上傳之CEIBA，請務必先行預習。每一次上課都有作業且在課堂上做。
3. 作業將以分組的方式進行，兩個人為一組將作業完成。 |

We will cover below 8 chapters in this semester.
Chap. 1 Introduction.
Chap. 2 Mathematical Background.
Chap. 3 Solving Nonlinear Equation.
Chap. 4 Solving a System of Linear Equations.
Chap. 5 Curve Fitting and Interpolation.
Chap. 6 Numerical Differentiation.
Chap. 7 Numerical Integration
Chap. 8 Ordinary Differential Equations:Initial-Value Problems. |

Grading: Final grades for the course will be determined using the following weights:
45% Programming assignments at each class (about 12 times)
10% Project presentation
20% Midterm
25% Final exam
